Alaska opens its Year 2 fall funding cycle September 30, the first of two planned for Year 2

The Alaska RHTP Year 2 fall funding cycle will open Wednesday, September 30. The application window will remain open for four weeks.
This is the first of two funding cycles planned for Year 2 of the RHTP grant.
DOH is also running an Applicant Support Webinar on Friday, October 2, and it is the more useful of the two events on the calendar — the team will “discuss common mistakes in the Year 1 cycle and how to avoid them” and give guidelines for a competitive proposal. The September 23 Applicant Convening in Anchorage we covered on Monday the 15th; registration for both is on the RHTP Events page.

North Carolina‘s ROOTS Region 2 Hub seats its 21-member Advisory Board
Trillium Health Resources moved its Region 2 board from “being established” to seated on September 18 and published the roster:
The NC ROOTS Region 2 Advisory Board provides guidance for the Region 2 Hub Action Plan. The Board consists of twenty-one (21) members and represents diverse communities, sectors, and lived experiences across the region.
Trillium is the hub we flagged in Ten RFPs in North Carolina as the only one with live RFAs, and those five are still posted — NCCARE360 Adoption, Food is Medicine Community Training Partner, LOCATe Implementation, I Gave Birth Implementation, and Food is Medicine Program Expansion, all through Region2NCRootsHub@TrilliumNC.org.
UNC Health, which runs Region 4, replaced its Regional Community Needs Assessment stub with a published overview and full report in the same 24 hours. A seated board and a finished needs assessment are the two documents a hub cites when it justifies what it funds next. Read them before Region 2 and Region 4 write their next round.
