Alaska sets an RHTP Funding Cycle Updates: Reflections and Next Steps webinar for September 11, 2 to 3 p.m., Year 1 reflections and the Year 2 approach
DOH invites the public to join webinar that will focus on reflections from the Year 1 funding cycle and provide a high-level overview of the approach for the upcoming Year 2 funding cycle. This webinar is open to community members, providers, health care organizations, and other partners and stakeholders from across Alaska’s health care landscape.
Registration is on Zoom. Alaska has been releasing Year 1 funding decisions every Friday since August 7, which we covered at the time, and the homepage says the projected award amounts on its Year 1 Funding Cycle Update reflect August 21 data with subaward budgets still being finalized. Year 2 is the first look at how a $272 million state intends to run its second cycle, so if you sat out the Letter of Interest round in February, this is the meeting.

Registration is on Teams. The recording goes to the resources page afterward. We noted the date when the RHT-AC bulletin came out Monday; the agenda and the question deadline are new. September 16 is also the award notification date for RFA 2026HCA9, the OTP Workforce Incentive Program, whose second round closes September 8 at 2 p.m. On the same morning, the entire RFA 2026HCA12 Provider Technology Fund packet, three amendments and four exhibits, came off the bids and contracts page. It closed in August; that is the file being retired, not a change in status.
