Those who would like to receive email updates on RHTP can do so by visiting RHTP Listserv | WV Department of Health and clicking the ‘subscribe here’ button at the top of the page. Mississippi Senate Bill 2477 addresses the use of monies from the Rural Health Transformation Fund by establishing requirements for certain recipients of those funds. The bill includes provisions governing how funds are to be distributed or administered and imposes conditions or reporting requirements on entities receiving funding from the Rural Health Transformation Fund. By regulating the use and oversight of funds within the program, the legislation directly relates to the structure and accountability of Mississippi’s rural health transformation financing mechanism.
