Oklahoma obligates ~70% of its $223.5M Year 1 RHTP award

At its June 17 virtual touchpoint, OSDH reported $84.3M obligated and $71.8M in contracting, with $67.4M still moving through competitive procurement. Seven solicitations totaling over $46M have launched. Microgrants closed first — nearly $4M to 69 of 75 rural counties from 349 applications. Rural Regional Reorientation ($20M) and Chronic Disease Management ($15M) closed in mid-June with awards expected by early August and end of July respectively. Now open: Behavioral Health Integration ($2.8M, closes July 10) and EMS/Community Paramedicine Vehicles ($3.7M, closes July 20). Still to come this summer: a community-paramedicine technical-assistance RFP (fall), school-based services via OSDE, and a doula-expansion NOFO. OSDH hosts a CMS site visit Aug 4–5 and files its first annual report Aug 30 — the document that determines Year 2 funding. Program leads: Lisa Rother and Jackie Kanak.
