Idaho closes three RFAs on its funding opportunities page
Three RFAs now read CLOSED 9/18/26: SUD Prevention, Behavioral Health Prevention, and Healthcare Infrastructure Support. The first two were posted 8/21/26 and updated 9/10/26; Healthcare Infrastructure Support was posted 8/18/26, updated 9/11/26, and had already had its deadline extended to September 18 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Those deadlines landed on schedule.

Virginia‘s VHCF closes Provider Interoperability and Provider Productivity and dates the awards September 30 and October 14
The Provider Interoperability & Provider Productivity Request for Applications (RFAs) are now closed. Thank you for your interest. VHCF anticipates sharing a Notice of Awards by September 30, 2026, for Provider Interoperability and October 14, 2026, for Provider Productivity.
The page also prices both sides for the first time. Interoperability is “approximately $14 million” — the same figure VHCF gave in its August 6 pre-application webinar — and Productivity is now posted at “between $7 million and $9 million.” Both are sub-initiatives of Virginia’s CareIQ initiative, and VHCF’s own deck puts the pair at $26 million in Year 1. So $21 million to $23 million of that $26 million is accounted for in public, and $3 million to $5 million is not. Productivity is scoped explicitly at:
adoption of digital productivity tools, including AI-enabled decision-support, documentation, and workflow automation, to reduce administrative burden, ease provider burnout, and allow rural clinicians to focus more of their valuable time on patient care
That is an ambient-documentation and AI-scribe buy, named as such by the funder, against Virginia’s $189,544,888 Year 1 award. The Interoperability performance period runs October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027, so awardees have twelve months to spend. VHCF is a subrecipient of DMAS and administers both.
